Any wrapper, windowfilm installer or detailer can use the Tint-Chek, with this device you will immediately and accurately see how much light the car glass lets through. It measures the visible light transmittance (VLT) of automotive glass or film up to a thickness of 6.5mm. The meter is perfect for checking the legality of the tint applied to car windows.

The results are shown on the real-time display. This allows the Tint-Chek to record accurate results without deviating from the value. The Tint-Chek is designed without moving parts, resulting in tremendous reliability and durability. Other tint meters use a switch to activate the meter when it is pressed against the glass. You can slide the Tint-Check over the glass without having to worry about damaging a switch or scratching the surface of the tested glass.

The Tint-Chek is equipped with a hard, protective carrying case, two NIST traceable calibration standards, a user manual, a calibration certificate and a 9-volt battery so it's ready to use right out of the box.
